Everyone loves Batman…and everyone loves a good  Batman Cosplayer. Well here is a great one! Enjoy this interview.

What is your name?

Jason Goldberg as JGCosplay or Jason G.

When did you start cosplaying?

I started in October of 2017 working on a Halloween costme!

Why did you start cosplaying?

After a Halloween costume did nOr fit properly I made my own, and I was hooked on the creativity it took to make it.

Who are your cosplay idols?

cosplay Chris, he sets the bar!

What types of cosplay do you do?

superhero mainly, for now!

What are your favorite cosplays?

Batman and Spiderman

What is something you want to cosplay but probably never will?

The hulk, I’m not tall enough!

What do you love about cosplay?

being creative and being around supportive people.  At ACE Comic-Con I loved taking pics with each and every kid that came up to me, that was so much fun!

Where do you get your inspiration for your cosplays?

Watching YouTube videos and on Instagram

What are your “fandoms”?

Batman and any DCEU cosplayer, and, well Marvel too!

What is something you wish beginning cosplayers knew?

You don’t have to be perfect, you just have to try and have fun doing it!

What tips do you have for other cosplayers?

Be patient and be creative.  Spending money for others to make your gear is ok, but it’s way more fun to do it yourself   Learn to see!

What is something you wish non-cosplayers knew?

Cosplaying does a lot of good, for example, visiting kids in hospitals and schools in character can make their day. It isn’t just playing dress up.

What cosplays are you working on?

A modern variation of the 66 Batman costume

What cosplays do you want to do if money and time were no object?

I’d like to go to a weekend long Comic-Con and change into different Batman variations throughout the day.
